Aluminum saw blades can theoretically cut wood,but it is not recommended to do so.

On the one hand,the tooth shape, tooth pitch and other parameters of aluminum saw blades are designed according to the characteristics of cutting aluminum profiles. They focus more on dealing with the hardness, ductility and other characteristics of aluminum. They may not achieve the best cutting effect when used to cut wood. For example, the cutting surface may not be flat and smooth enough, and burrs may easily appear.

On the other hand,the saw blade material itself is also adapted to the needs of aluminum cutting.Cutting wood for a long time may accelerate the wear of the saw blade,shorten its service life,increase the cost of use,and may also affect the accuracy and efficiency when  cutting aluminum profiles subsequently.

So if you want to cut wood,it is best to use a special woodworking  saw blade to operate.
